Kieran and I went to a wedding in Cancun 3 years before we got married and we absolutely loved everything, we later found out that Briana and Coral Tide Travel had helped organize it. When we got engaged and we decided to have a destination wedding in Cancun my friend recommended that I talk to Briana, and from the moment we first spoke on the phone I knew I had to go with Coral Tide Travel, Briana gave me some peace of mind that no one had. Briana was always very professional, honest, she really cared about what we wanted and what we were looking for and was never pushy (which I really liked!). She helped us find the best resort for our group (Dreams Riviera Cancun) and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to get married and all that thanks to her. Our guests loved working with Briana and Craig too, they were so professional, patient and caring with everyone and we had a big wedding, 135 guests and every single one of them had the best experience and said this was one of the best weddings they’ve ever attended. It was magical, the food, service, music, decor, everything was just like we wanted or even better, we can’t wait to go back to celebrate our 1st anniversary there (and our guests can’t wait either!). From our first phone call, we felt very confident in our choice to work with Coral Tide Travel. We spoke with Briana. She answered all of our silly questions without hesitation. She was super knowledgeable and gave us tips about certain resorts that she had worked with, the best times to book, etc. To this day, without a doubt, she was the best part of our entire planning process. She was organized and communicated with my husband and I so well. Calmed our nerves and was always so helpful. But not only that, she was so great with our guests and made it very easy to book! That took SO much of our stress away. We loved how she made a website for us and sent email reminders out to our crew so we didn’t have to! I truly have nothing negative to say. Coral Tide was a smooth process through out our wedding process. Communication was always prompt and accommodations with our guests was the easiest. Briana our travel agent - made sure our choice of resort was met to our expectations when it came to a budget wise, responsive resort and a vibe we were looking for. We really appreciated the guidance through this because doing this alone is the most frustrating task during your destination wedding planning. Aside from this guidance, it's also at no cost to you but a website is created to have your guests book easily and any questions or concerns your guests may ask, Briana is always there to respond promptly. If you want a huge task to be taken care of from your destination wedding plans, Coral tide is the way to go! Plus, the reimbursement you get back is all worth it!
Blake & Tom's Destination Wedding
When Tom and I decided to have a destination wedding, we knew we'd need quite a bit of guidance throughout the whole process, particularly as we weren't going to be visiting our options. Once I connected with Briana, it was so unbelievably obvious that she truly wanted to understand Tom's and my individual must-haves and must-not-haves. With this information, she was able to make very specific recommendations that would equally meet both of our hopes for this special time. I'd often come up with location or resort ideas, and Briana always let me know if this would meet what she knew to be our needs, if it would suit only Tom or only me, or if the idea was to be vetoed. There is nothing more that I love and look for than honesty and guidance, especially during a process such as this one! Briana completely understood and empathized with what we were looking for and, with that, we chose Secrets Maroma (without ever visiting! What does that say about how much we trusted Briana?!). Briana and Craig made this process unbelievably simple and top-notch for us as well as our guests, from day 1 of planning until the last day of our wedding-stay. Their names became household names; my friends talked about Briana and Craig all the time, and were disappointed to learn they wouldn't be meeting them at the wedding. After 11 months, we had the most incredible week of our lives, far surpassing what we or anyone could've ever expected. Secrets Maroma put Tom and I on cloud 9, as well as every single one of our 60 guests. The food, service/treatment, beach, and aesthetic were unreal. Our wedding week could not have possibly worked out as well as it did without all of the guidance and assistance that Coral Tide provided throughout the entire process. Where do I start. I got engaged to my husband on 9/7/19. I took the time out to enjoy my engagement and then COVID hit. After a full year of no planning I decided to put something into motion. I knew I wanted to destination wedding but I wasn’t sure of where to start. I googled destination wedding travel agents and came across Coral Tide Travel Reviews. “Where to have our wedding was a hard decision to make with so many things to consider. You are not supposed to be stressed before your wedding or the day of your wedding, but I wondered how could I avoid stress? A destination wedding was the first thing that came to mind and I must say we are so glad that we decided to have a destination wedding which ultimately turned into a big vacation with our family and closest friends. Briana and Craig at Coral Tide Travel were with us every step of the way answering our questions and helping our guests secure their travel arrangements. They made this process so much simpler than we had imagined. Being on vacation with our toes in the sand definitely helped us achieve the mindset we needed to destress and relax. We arrived a few days before our wedding and got to enjoy the resort and settle in before guests started to arrive. It was so much fun to see our family and friends arrive at the resort and welcome them with an ice cold beverage! We met with our wedding coordinator and changed our minds about wedding details once we were there in person experiencing it. Our wedding coordinator Brenda was very accommodating, she truly made us feel important and at home. She went above and beyond for us and helped make our wedding night the best night of our lives! Our plan was to have the ceremony on the beach but we decided to change the location to the garden to be more intimate plus the greenery was just so beautiful! It rained the night before our wedding and Brenda suggested we move the location of the reception from the Gazebo to inside El Patio, a beautiful Mexican restaurant at the resort because of the slight chance of rain the next day. It was beautiful! The food and reception surpassed our expectations, simply perfect in every way! We also planned an after party at the resort’s music lounge, Desires. This was so much fun, we danced all night and had a blast! We had a wonderful time at Dreams Puerto Aventuras, our wedding was perfect and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed it!
